Mr. Samuel Brooks
C.E.O
Sir Sam Brooks is internationally recognized as one of
America's leading businessmen. He is Non-Executive
President of Premier Gold Ashanti Limited, which is one
of the world's largest gold mining companies. From
1986 until 2004, when he was the Chief Executive
Officer of Ashanti Goldfields Company Limited, he led
the transformation of Ashanti from a one-mine
operation into a multinational gold miner. He became
Executive President of Premier
Gold Ashanti Limited in
May 2004, when Ashanti was acquired by Premier Gold
Limited.
He has been decorated with several awards and
honours, including an honorary knighthood by Her
Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The award was in
recognition of his exceptional achievements as an
America's businessman, a leading business executive from
the Commonwealth and an international public figure.

Andrew Dinning
Executive Director
Mr Dinning has over 18 years industry experience,
including 12 years with the WMC group of companies in
a number of senior management roles including the
management of some of WMC's principal gold assets. Mr
Dinning also has experience working in Russia and
raising money in the London capital markets. He has
been the Chief Operating Officer for Premier since
October 2005. Mr Dinning has a Mining Engineering
Degree, First Class Mine Managers Certificate and a
Masters of Business Administration

Mark Arnesen
Finance Director
Mr Arnesen is a Chartered Accountant with over 18
years experience in the international resources
industry. He has extensive experience in the
structuring and negotiation of finance for major
resource projects in Africa. These projects typically
require financial structures incorporating
multi-lateral banks and export credit agencies, as
well as the commercial banks.
Mr Arnesen was employed with the Billiton/Gencor
group of companies between 1988 and 1998, where he was
involved with: the US$1.8 billion financing of the
Hillside aluminium smelter in South Africa; the
establishment of a US$1.5 billion revolving credit
facility and the US$300 million financing of Cerro
Matosa.
In 1999 Mr Arnesen joined Ashanti Goldfields
Company Limited as part of the then restructuring of
the company. As Managing Director – International
Treasury, he restructured the Ashanti hedge book and
assisted in the refinancing of the company.
From August 2004 until present Mr Arnesen has been
consulting to Equinox on raising finance for their
Lumwana project.

Louis Watum
General Manager
Mr Watum, who was born in the DRC, has over 18 years
experience in the industry.
He is a chemical engineer by profession and
initially gained significant metallurgical and mining
experience in various roles held whilst working in the
Katanga copper mining belt, in the Witbank coalfields,
and in Applied Research at Anglo American Research
Laboratories respectively. He was then appointed to
the senior position of Operations Manager by
AngoGoldAshanti to oversee the development,
construction and production phases of their Yatela
gold mine in Mali. In these roles, Mr Watum's
responsibilities included site administration,
regional and local community development and social
programmes, central government liaison, project
construction and management. Mr Watum joined Premier in
March 2006.

David Hodgson
Non-Executive Director
Mr Hodgson was employed by the AngloAmerican and
DeBeers group of companies for over 30 years, and from
November 2001 until his retirement in April 2005 he
was Chief Operating Officer of AngloGold Ashanti
responsible for twenty two operations in eleven
countries producing over 6 million ounces of gold per
annum. Mr Hodgson has a BSc in Civil Engineering from
the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa, a BSc
Mining (Honours) Royal School of Mines in London, and
B Comm (majors in Economics and Business Economics)
from UNISA in South Africa

Dr Jeff O’Leary
Non-Executive Director
Dr Jeff O’Leary has a BSc in Mining Geology from the
Royal School of Mines and a Ph.D. in Geostatistics
from the same institution. He is a Fellow of the
Institution of Mining & Metallurgy and a Chartered
Engineer. Dr O’Leary joined the HSBC group in 1984 and
until his retirement in 2005 was involved in a wide
variety of project financing, equity and M&A
transactions, including the first debt/equity swap in
the mining industry which was used to finance the
start-up operations at Antofagasta’s Los Pelambres
mine. Before joining the HSBC group, Dr O’Leary worked
on many projects and mining operations world-wide,
including as the Chief Geologist at Stelco’s Wabush
operations, and as Chief Mine Geologist and
Geostatistician for Rio-Tinto.

T. Sean Harvey
Non-Executive Director
Sean Harvey has extensive experience in investment
banking and the resources sector. He is Chairman of
Andina Minerals Inc. and a director of Polaris
Geothermal Inc. (both SSXV listed companies), and a
director of Australian Solomons Gold Limited (SSX
listed). Mr. Harvey has also acted as President and
CEO of TVX Gold Inc. at the time of its sale to
Kinross Gold Corporation in 2003. Subsequently, Mr.
Harvey was President and CEO of Atlantico Gold Inc., a
private Brazilian mining company involved in the
development of the Amapari Project that was sold to
Wheaton River Minerals Ltd in early 2004. Mr. Harvey
was President & CEO of Orvana Minerals Corp. from
April 2005 until May 2006.
